For one week in September 2023, the artists and scientists retreated to the Teatr Cinema in Michałowice to seek inspiration and work in the countryside during the day. In the evenings, everyone came together to listen to presentations by the participants. The topics ranged from “landscape as a construct” to historical reviews of the relationship between the Polish and German nations to very personal relationships with the Silesian landscape and the Karkonosze Mountains.
