The application for ERASMUS persists of two steps:
1. Application at the Department of Art Education (ERASMUS-Coordinator)
2. Application at the University of Leipzig (Academic Office)
Please take note that you have to apply for admission to studies before the designated deadlines.
Application at the Department of Art Education
For application at the Deartment of Art Education students from abroad are asked to send the following documents:
• Letter of Motivation
• Portfolio including 15 creative Works, a Curriculum Vitae and an Artist Statement
• Language Certificate to confirm basic knowledge of the German language (exceptions because of extraordinary artistical aptitude are possible and can be granted by the ERASMUS-Coordinator)

Application at the University of Leipzig
When you have got your Permission for Studies from the Department of Art Education, you can register and apply online at the University of Leipzig.
If your application is successful, you will receive a Letter of Admission before the beginning of August (winter semester) or before the beginning of February (summer semester) from the University of Leipzig. The letter is sent to your home address. Now you can enrol at the University of Leipzig.
